Some amazing details from the Sony A7RIII

I was curious after my initial preview of the Sony A7RIII based in London at its launch event to look for similar images taken with both A9 plus the new 24-105 F4 and with A7RIII plus the 24-70 F2.8 G Master lens.

I know it’s not a fair, equal nor direct comparison but was just curious how far Image Quality can go in the amazing combo of the A7RIII plus the GMaster lens.

Images were taken 45 minutes apart (I’ve explained earlier, we’ve been given first the lens, and then we’ve switched to the other group who had the camera first)

So here we go, no further explanations needed!

  1. Really? 24-70mm F2.8 used 42mp and 24-105mm F4 used 24mp which is very unfair and irrelevant. What’s the point? I don’t see the setting for each lenses and body also.

    • Have you read the text? No point in that, just out of curiosity. Not planned on location, just afterwards at home. Is there all the time an explanation needed?

      • Appreciate the comparison, although I DO wish It was with each lens on the a7riii , but Judging by the slight differences in most cases , I think that I will be happy with my a7riii and 24-105 G , and if not, Ill send it back and buy the GM! 😀 Cant wait for this Camera to come in the mail 😀

        • I know, but on launch days we have limited access to both cameras and lenses :). So I did what I could, also with limited time.
