\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I have updated the very first thing in the morning when it became available and the did a quick run to a nearby lake for some BIF tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to be able to show others what I see in the viewfinder and how Sony A9 behaves with the new firmware 5.0, I have to connect the camera to my Atomos Ninja V and record the feed camera send to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately this mean I don&#8217;t get to see anything in the EVF, nor LCD, so I have to do the tracking while following the bird on the external monitor, which is a pain in the a..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>But here it is, a quick demo of the new firmware 5.0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube the subject (my 9 y.o daughter) even at F 1.4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here is a demo of the new EYE-AF on firmware 5.0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed
