Discover Romania – ep. 3
The Danube Delta is the second largest river delta in Europe, after the Volga Delta, and is the best preserved on the continent. I’ve been several times to visit the Delta and every time I found “her” very wild. A land of “World Heritage Sites”, it remained this way because of the harsh conditions for living.
These days you can find modest conditions for accommodation, but it’s best to go sleep in the tent. You can hire locals (who knows very well the channels) and can transport you all over the place with their fisherman boats.
Enjoy and please preserve the nature as it is!
